Metrology

At Promega, we have a highly specialized Metrology Laboratory, formed by a team of three expert technicians, whose mission is to ensure rigorous quality control that allows us to meet the most demanding standards of sectors such as Aerospace, Robotics, or Defense.

This department performs dimensional control and analysis of parts, tooling, and assemblies, as well as the issuance of technical reports, certificates of conformity, and CPK reports, essential for validating processes and products in high-precision environments.

We have state-of-the-art three-dimensional measurement equipment, including:

• Two coordinate measuring machines (CMM), ensuring precise and repeatable verification.
• A portable measuring arm, which enables dimensional inspections and setup operations both at our facilities and at the client’s site.
• Laser tracker, a high-precision tool that allows 3D measurements in large volumes, ideal for verifying tooling, alignments, and dimensional controls both in the factory and in the field.

In addition, the laboratory develops customized dimensional control procedures for our clients and is capable of digitizing parts or products without technical documentation, facilitating the reproduction or replacement of components through reverse engineering.

This combination of advanced infrastructure and team expertise positions Promega’s Metrology Laboratory as a key pillar in quality assurance and technical support for our advanced manufacturing processes.
